Wannianji

In order to preserve the traditional folk culture of the area, shape the local characteristics of Zuoying, and develop local culture to revitalize the local economy, the Zuoying District Office and the local people of Zuoying joined together in the 2001 Zuoying Wannian Season Promotion Group to organize large scale local cultural activities by combining the special historical and humanistic resources of Lianchi Tan, taking Lianchi Tan as the hinterland, and calling on the temples to join hands with the local people of Zuoying to jointly plan and organize activities with local characteristics.

Military village

The Kaohsiung Zuoying Family Village is the largest, oldest and most complete naval village in Southern Taiwan. The villages have a special cultural value and contemporary significance. In addition to its spatial diversity and rich landscape elements, it is a spatial example of humanities and history combined with living places, and it is worth preserving its existing resources and strengthening its subsequent development.

Xue's ancient house

Address: No. 44, Haiping Road, Zuoying District, Kaohsiung City, 813, Taiwan . Zuoying was the earliest settlement developed by the Han Chinese in Kaohsiung. From the Zheng family to the early Qing Dynasty, it was the seat of the county government office, so there were many families of merit and prestige. However, due to the change of the times and the development of the city, most of the houses were destroyed, demolished or rebuilt, and now the Minnan-style building "Xue Family Ancient Residence" on Haiping Road behind the planing area is the most famous.

World Games Main Venue

The architect is a Japanese Toyo Ito, and the main stadium of the World Games was handed over to the Kaohsiung Municipal Government Sports Development Bureau for operation. In 2009, the World Games and the second round of the 2010 East Asian Football Championship preliminaries were held, and not only these 11 years, various sports events, soccer matches, concerts, charity events and religious activities have been held, and it is currently the largest stadium in Taiwan.

Great Harbor Bridge

The Great Harbor Bridge is a pedestrian bridge in Yancheng District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is the first horizontally rotating landscape bridge in Taiwan and the longest cross-port rotating bridge in Asia.
The bridge started construction on September 22, 2018, and was inaugurated on July 6, 2020. 
The bridge spans across Port of Kaohsiung Basin Dock No.3, connecting the Pier-2 Art Center to the Penglai Commercial Area. It allows visitors to walk directly across from the art exhibitions and the Dayi Pier-2 Station to the commercial area, where the shops and restaurants are located. The bridge reduces the original walking time between the two sides of the dock from 30 minutes to 3 minutes.

Great Harbor Warehouse

Situated at the Third Canal (formerly known as "Uchi-funadamari"), Great Harbor Warehouse 410 offers a fresh perspective through long panoramic windows that perfectly frame the Great Harbor Bridge. This design allows visitors to soak in the harbor views while relaxing indoors. Shen Miao-tzu, Chairperson of the Kaohsiung Port Land Development Co., stated that four warehouses have already been revitalized under the Great Harbor Warehouse project. Five more are set to follow, with a "magnificent transformation" expected by this summer. These nine distinct styles are designed to make visitors fall in love with the Port of Kaohsiung all over again—from the bottom of their hearts.

Cijin Ferry Station

Cijin Ferry Station serves as a vital transportation link between Cijin District and Gushan District, operated by the Kaohsiung Lofton route, the Chi-Gu Route, connects Cijin with Hamasen, the earliest developed area in Kaohsiung. It serves not only as essential public transport for Cijin residents but also as a scenic gateway for tourists to enjoy fresh seafood, local delicacies, and historic streets. To support the growing tourism at the Pier-2 Art Center, a weekend ferry service also runs from KW2 (Kwan-hai Warehouse 2) to Cijin Ferry Station. This offers visitors a convenient shortcut, saving them the walk from the Hamasen MRT/Light Rail Station to the Gushan Ferry Pier.

Cishan Old Street

Located in Cishan District, Kaohsiung City, Cishan Old Street primarily refers to Zhongshan Road, which was originally developed as "Hontori" (Main Street) during the Japanese colonial period. The street is renowned for its designated historical buildings, featuring unique "Stone-arched Arcades"  and elaborate Baroque-style facades. It is also home to significant cultural assets such as the Cishan Train Station and the Cishan Farmers' Association. In 2001, this charming street was voted 24th in the "Top 100 Historical Buildings of Taiwan" competition.
